BALAWarriors, we are so excited you have decided to do this challenge! The goal for this challenge is not only to get a rocking bikini body, but to learn new habits that are not just physical or nutritional, but spiritual as well.

In this 7 day challenge, you will check in everyday with your workouts and food of the day using our hashtag #balawarrior and #balachallenge.

Everyday you will have:

  • Word of the day
  • Exercise of the day
  • New Foods to try
  • Meditation practice
  • Tips on how stay healthy and motivated

Start Date: May 1

End Date: May 7

We'll end the challenge with a hiking trip to Parque Monagas in Bayamon. Includes transportation, food, yoga class, and meditation. $50.

How to Join?

Send us a message through Facebook, saying you are in! 3 Days before the challenge you will receive an email with your calendar. You must be a Bala member or come to our hiking excursion. Challenge is FREE, the only cost is the Sunday hiking excursion.

Coconut Lavender Scrub

This is an all natural, super easy to make scrub. As we all know lavender is a very soothing, relaxing scent. But it is also antibacterial and antimicrobial. Making it ideal for facial or body treatments. Coconut oil is also antimicrobial which is a perfect combination with the lavender.


1/4 cup coconut oil 

3 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp sea salt, not fronded for a more coarse texture 

10 drops lavender oil

How to:

Massage into a circular motion , can be used on the face, or body. Rinse with warm water for smooth skin. 

*little tip: perfect for very dry areas like knees and elbows
